Summer School Courses: Terms
& Conditions
Returning a completed registration form and receiving
an offer of a place constitutes a firm contract with The London
School of Journalism. The payment of a deposit reserves a place
on the course, but this reservation will be lost if the balance
due is not received by The London School of Journalism at least
fourteen days before course commencement.
Course fees are refundable only as follows: Cancellations
made 45 days or more prior to course commencement will suffer
a charge of 15% of the total course fee; cancellations made
less than 45 days but more than 30 days before course commencement
will suffer a charge of 50% of the course fee. If less than
30 days notice is given, no refunds will be made in respect
of cancellations, but if fees have been paid in full 50% of
fees paid may be carried forward and used for another course.
Non-attendance of a class or classes due to illness or for personal or professional reasons does not provide the right to a refund of fees, extra tuition or a transfer to another course. However, in such an event the school will consider all the circumstances and take such action as it considers to be fair and reasonable.
Cancellation after the commencement of the course will result in the loss of all fees paid.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances this course may be
cancelled by the LSJ, in which case full refunds of fees already paid will be
made.
