Students may elect to take modules in the following order:

Either: A3, D3, C3, B3 (Course 1) or C3, B3, A3, D3 (Course 2)

  Module A3 - Journalism and Newswriting with Media Law
    Journalism with Media Law - 15 weeks + reading weeks
    Reading and research assignments
    15 x 1 hour lectures
    5 personal tutorials
    Journalism and Newswriting Exam

  Module B3 - Freelance and Internet Journalism
    Freelancing and Internet Journalism - 13 weeks + reading weeks
    Reading and research assignments
    13 x 1 hour lectures
    4 personal tutorials
    Exam
 
 
  Module C3 – Freelance and Feature Writing
    Freelance and Feature Writing - 15 weeks + reading weeks
    Reading and research assignments
    15 x 1 hour lectures

    Specialist subject to be chosen from: i. Travel writing
        ii. Sports reporting
        iii. Music and the Arts
    Exam    
 
  Module D3 - Subediting    
    Subediting - 13 weeks + reading weeks
